• What you send us. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, telephone number if you provide one, subject and message. The telephone field is optional.
• Technical records. Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this website, keeps server logs, including IP addresses, for a limited period, to keep the site available and to block abuse.

We do not use analytics or advertising tools on this website, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

We use what you send us for one purpose: to answer you and, where relevant, to discuss working together. For visitors in the European Union, the legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us (Article 6(1)(f)). Technical records rest on our legitimate interest in security and availability.

We keep an enquiry for as long as it takes to answer it and to follow up on any discussion it opens, and no longer; once that correspondence is closed, it is deleted. If the enquiry leads to an engagement, the records move to the client file and follow the retention rules of that agreement.

Only our service providers, and only to the extent needed to run the site and our mail: Cloudflare, which hosts, delivers and protects this website, and Google Workspace, which carries our email. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

We are established in the United Arab Emirates, and our providers operate in the European Union and the United States. Where data originating in the European Union is transferred outside it, the transfer relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, and ask for it in a portable form. Write to info@elaqa.net. If you are in the European Union and you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to your national supervisory authority.

The content of this website is general information. It is not legal, financial, tax, technical or management advice, and it should not be relied on in place of advice given for your situation. We give advice under an engagement, in writing, to a named client.
